RADIAL SEMI-RIGID DUCTING

Radial semi-rigid ducting is designed for air-distribution equipment and ventilation systems.

A radial semi-rigid ducting system is made up of smoothbore pipes that are crushproof, semi-flexible and have zero air loss. The inner walls of the ducts are treated with a protective antibacterial and anti-fungal coating, which ensures hygienic protection against bacteria and mould. It provides quieter, more efficient ventilation compared to other types of ducting systems. With semi-rigid ducting, the benefits stretch beyond just systems performance but can also reduce installation time by 70% without affecting the standards for installation.

The Klimaflex ducting system is tested with BRE (Building Research Establishment) and is SAP Appendix Q registered in both Mechanical Heat Recovery and with the DUCO Central Mechanical Extract ventilation systems. This means the ducting and ventilation systems have been tested to the highest of standards. The tests proved to perform equal or better when compared with rigid ducting when using either 75mm and 90mm diameter ducting.
