SODAC Supplies Heat Recovery Ventilation Solution for Child Education Development Centre, Co. Galway

SODAC Distribution Ltd was pleased to supply two Blauberg CIVIC DB 1000 V.2 heat recovery ventilation units for a Child Education Development Centre in Co. Galway, supporting the creation of a healthy, comfortable, and energy-efficient indoor environment for children and staff.

The project involved the installation of a decentralised heat recovery ventilation system designed to improve indoor air quality while maintaining high levels of energy efficiency. The Blauberg CIVIC DB 1000 V.2 units provide balanced supply and extract ventilation, incorporating high-efficiency heat exchangers that recover energy from the exhaust air stream and transfer it to incoming fresh air.

To ensure optimum indoor conditions, the systems are equipped with energy-efficient EC fans, integrated controls, high-grade air filtration, and built-in CO₂ sensors. Demand-controlled ventilation automatically adjusts airflow based on occupancy levels, helping to maintain excellent indoor air quality while minimising unnecessary energy consumption.

By continuously monitoring CO₂ levels and delivering fresh, filtered air where and when it is needed, the systems help reduce CO₂ build-up, support concentration and wellbeing, and create a healthier learning environment for both children and staff.

This project demonstrates SODAC’s commitment to delivering intelligent, energy-efficient ventilation solutions that improve indoor environments in educational and community facilities across Ireland.
