SODAC Distribution Ltd recently supplied a range of advanced Blauberg ventilation solutions for a HSE facility, helping to improve indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and energy efficiency across multiple areas of the building.
The project included the installation of a Blauberg CIVIC EC LB 500 S21 decentralised heat recovery ventilation unit serving the main office areas. This floor-mounted unit provides balanced supply and extract ventilation with highly efficient heat recovery, delivering a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air while reducing energy consumption and maintaining a comfortable working environment. Its decentralised design makes it particularly suitable for refurbishment and retrofit projects where traditional ducted ventilation systems may not be practical.
To support specialised spaces within the facility, Blauberg VENTO InHome W decentralised heat recovery units were installed in therapy and observation rooms. These compact units provide continuous fresh air ventilation directly within individual rooms, ensuring excellent indoor air quality while minimising installation requirements and disruption to the building.
In addition, Blauberg Smart WiFi continuous extract fans were supplied for the wheelchair charging station rooms. Utilising their integrated temperature sensors, the fans automatically respond to changing room conditions by increasing or reducing extract rates as required. This intelligent operation helps maintain effective air circulation, supports temperature management, and provides continuous ventilation within these dedicated spaces while minimising energy consumption.
By combining decentralised heat recovery ventilation and continuous extract systems, the project delivers a tailored solution that meets the specific requirements of different areas throughout the facility.
